Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The midnight deadline ( help )

^^ A guy with a 69** card has issues with powerplay, unwinder points out that unofficial overclocking is not officially supported as it can cause instability/problems and any issues will not be fixed, how's my post out of context. If you are not in the know AMD cards have overclocking limits set in the bios, these are usualy very low limits, unofficial overclocking is required to get a decent overclock, a bios flash with higher default clocks will mean unofficial overclocking is not required but may render your warranty useless if the card fails.

Unwinder hasn't had the cards yet so final Afterburner / Voltage limits haven't been set into the program. He wasn't saying voltage/higher limits would not be provided. Afterburner will default to standard ccc limits until this is done.

Same thing happened with the 5870 and the 460s I'd had.

Anyway as I said 69** are dual bios so it'll not be long before we can flash what we want.
