The Minimum specs for tekkit

I have just been told that the minimum specs for tekkit is an i7 and 8GB of ram and a high-spec GPU, now even with my pc I could play tekkit, host the server and render and edit videos comfortably and the most RAM I have ever been able to use is 5GB EVER, even my old athlon 64 with 2GB of ram and a sapphire X1950 pro can run minecraft on on full, some people have no idea. But then again this is the person who thinks the 660 will be in date for TEN years.

Yeah I know all this. Its just this guy who thinks he is the god of pc. A friend wants him to build a pc for £1200 and he speced the 660 as it was one of the best GPU you can buy and will be for 10 years
