Oh my god. Just caught up with this on record (originally aired Tuesday) and it's absolutely riveting.

Hard to watch as a parent and more than a shade of 'McCann' about it, but incredibly dramatic and moves at a proper pace, rather than 45 minutes of nothing happening followed by a poor attempt at a cliff-hangar ending.

The ending of episode one was just spine-chilling .

Was brilliant. Been a long time an opening of British series has grabbed me right from the get-go. I thought I recognised the French Detective Inspector bloke before, so I looked him and amazingly he was one of the Russian (or whatever country it was) generals in Goldeneye!

You guys are in for a treat. Fantastic series with some really clever writing and acting. Dubbed as the BBC's answer to broadchurch..

Just watched this tonight on catchup. Seems very nicely done indeed, this is where the BBC shines, you just know ITV wouldnt pull this off in the same way.

Cannot wait for the next part...

I just hate shows/films that do that. I've invested 8 hours of my time watching it, don't mug me off and give me the "up to you" ending. I want to know!
