iirc, the Missing Manual is more technical and in depth than the Ihnatko books. Depends what you want. Do you want a beginners guide or a technical reference book?
It might be worth it if you can get past the fact that David Pogue is probably the most annoying person on Apple's payroll. I prefer the "figure it out and use Google when you get stuck" approach.
