The months ahead-buy now or wait?

I want to build a new pc when battlefield 3 comes out.

Are there any major advances likely in terms of next generation expected any time soon?

e.g PCIE 3 vs PCIE2

Next gen video cards or processors expected?

Just don't want to fork out £1000 if straight away if all of a sudden a new graphics card or processor comes out which makes me wish I'd of waited a month.

Bulldozer (AMD) cpu's are due out end of the year(ish) i believe, and also new gen Gfx cards.

bulldozer is supposed to be out very soon. i think battlefield 3 will be out before the next lot of graphics cards are though

theres nothing solid out there to even give a hint at the performance.
