Get invited into a large group convo, add one of the several 13 year olds, let them talk for 30 seconds, then you will know anoying! If anyone from a group convo adds me to msn now, its an instant block, if they start spouting emoticons at me... There convos are like

h :) l :rolleyes: sa :rolleyes: m :rolleyes:
 
It reminds me of someone sticking a sticker that says "Kick me" on someones back and the expression they have on their face after that kind of says "It was me (But it was really... ha...*Cough)
 
Yep there is, any of the 'funny' theme packs that you can install for MSN messenger which animate certain letters/phrases, seemingly beloved of girls of a certain age. They make me think that homicide is totally justifiable on an entirely objective basis, entirely exculpatory just like self-defence - heck the judge would probably give you a friendly nod and a quick "I entirely understand m'boy, no-one could hold it against you".

The rolleyes smiley does seem to cause a lot more offence than is strictly necessary though.

Actually, more annoying is when you visit a random website and there's a Flash banner for a smiley pack that you can download... but the smilies on the banner speak and/or make noises. Flash banners should not make noises. It's bad enough that they're there at all.

Correct - would, did and will now proceed say it again in a slightly different manner. ;) There isn't much to get worked up over here, it is a silly green smiley, it isn't even animated yet it appears to invite more ire than almost anything else on these forums.
