The Munsters (2022) - Rob Zombie film

I honestly went into the trailer not knowing what to expect, and it was just "off", it didn't feel like the munsters at all.

When it reaches netflix or prime I'll probably give it a go, but there is no way i'll be paying specifically for it unless there are more trailers that are significantly better, the trailer just gives me the same sort of vibe as some of the 90's/early 00's comic book films (and not the good ones).

It's a shame when I heard about a reboot/new Munsters project I was looking forward to it.

I don't think i'm being "precious" about it, as normally I can enjoy a well written/made remake, for example the original Addams Family, the 90's films and the newer one, and I enjoyed both the Munsters and Munsters Today.

It's got a couple of the original cast in it, probably just cameo's. Oh and Cassandra Peterson, so that's a couple of... 'points'... in it's favour. ;)

Other than that, yeah. Loots terrible.

A terrible looking badly shot film from Rob?...well I never, not like hes known for being pretty god awful.

Zombie has done some gems, first two movies of the Firefly trilogy and his first Halloween movie were great - 31 had moments which were pretty decent but only when they were featuring the excellent Richard Brake though.

Yeha his halloween remake was very good i thought, took the same story and put his own twist on it showing parts of what made Michael go bad. Second was utter ***** though.
