Anyone tried Netsoccer 2?

It's a great game but the community's dwindling a bit, and it's mostly dominated by the Polish contingent, so it would be great to have a few more fellow Brits playing. Unfortunately, everyone's put off by the fact that everyone else in the public servers are better than them, because we've had so little fresh blood in the game that everyone's pretty much at the same well-practiced standard.
It's 2D, keyboard and mouse controls - suprisingly intuitive and addictive, just the developer has no clue about marketing (or updating or communication, unfortunately). Everyone takes one player in a 5-a-side match and usually it's fast yet furious. Once you get into it, it is good fun.
Before you're put off by the controls or the cheap graphics, I'd just say that the control scheme, in my opinion, makes Netsoccer what it is - simple to use, difficult to master, unique to itself (and the ice hockey game Kiekko) and very much adaptable. It's not just pressing 'Pass' and 'Shoot' - you just have 'kick' and the mouse (which determines height and direction) which actually allows for a massive amount of control. I can only really urge you to try it for yourself.
I know that NS1 used to be majorly popular around here, so much so that it spawned a lot of the original players (hey BB, NeoN, etc...) Would anyone fancy forming a newbies team, if only to practice in? I've played for a few years so I could teach the basics. I'm 'AfterDeath' in game if you're interested.
