Since winning an ASUS Crosshair III Formula in a competition (thank you ASUS UK!), I decided to ditch S775 this week and go AM3.

More over at Vortez Hardware if you're interested.

That's smart, mine is calling for something similar.

Where did you get the rubber stuff to line the edge with?

Google blowhole trim mate - I can't say where or post a link as it's a competitor but it's only about 60p a metre :)

Could it be found locally? I have a 5830 arriving on Monday and my case needs some heavy mods for it to fit, so I'll be relocating the HDDs and removing the HDD caddy, so I'll have the innards out, so it makes sense at the same time to chop holes in the motherboard tray.

I also need to get round to resleeving the rest of the stuff...

Don't know mate, probably with a bit of looking round - the place I got it from is in Scotland - but I have heard of people using car edging trim even splitting small bore irrigation pipe from a garden centre!

I have some small bore tubing in the garage, usually used for breather pipes on the carbs on our motorbikes....

That'll do! :P

just gave my cables their first tidy. I wouldn't say I have done a bad job, considering I don't have a modular PSU, and the CM Stacker 831 has absoutely NO cable management atall!

Cabling has been tidied up a bit, not that you can actually tell. I shall be whipping out my holesaw at some point and getting stuck in!
