^Yeah, I've been hesitant and holding off for years. Unless there's a major revolution in cooling, I'll indeed make the switch to water one of these days...

Do it. :)

Cant understand why any1 would want brown fan's... yuck!

What a retarded thing to say. Its because they run silent, thats what noctua fans excel at and I dont sit there looking at my fans.

Very good point although I cant help but imagine someone with those fans sat there staring at his machine talking to himself saying 'they're in there.... I know they're in there....evil..... being brown..... devious little *****'

You have to admit that it is an odd colour they have been made. When modding and image is whats selling, they make them old brown, no matter how good they are (and theres no denying they are top notch), theres a lot of people who will be put off buying them. Oh well I guess it can only push the price down a bit for the rest.

Noctua fans aint the prettiest but their performance is superb which is why I use them as case fans on all my builds.

My gaming rig is a gaming htpc which has to be silent. I have a T-Ballancer BigNG placed by my rad in the bottom of my rig which controls all the rad fans and has them spinning at 500rpm which is 5dB. My case fans (noctua ) are set to the lowest speed the 92mm fans are running at 7.9dB and the single 120mm is running at 6.9dB. My pc isn't even seen as it is placed behind a 70" display and has no window. :)

Looks nice chipps, though id suggest reversing your hdd's, this way you can run the cables along the rail that the motherboard tray is mounted on. Like the stealth bay cover as well, gonna have to get one for mine.

Drives reverse mounted.

Could still do with a good tidy though, 2 gpu's and a soundcard lead to a lot of cables.:D

i was gonna reverse them but the sliding bar won't close down with them that way, does that really matter ?

i did have it even neater untill my 4870x2 arrived and completely blocked 4 of my 6 sata ports and the only right angle sata lead i had was the shortish orange gigabyte one so thats the reason i don't have any more drives in atm :(
you can see the long black sata cable i had neatly routed sitting looking unhappy on top of my psu :(

Nope, doesnt matter, just make sure that the locking screw is still tightened up or it will vibrate like crazy. Could you possibly hide the orange cable beind the mobo tray, this is where i have quite a few of my cabes.

Those are slightly older pics, ive since added a third hdd.

the orange cables is not long enough to go behind the motherboard :( i will have to try and get a long black sata cable with a right angled end, either that or a new shorter gfx card lol :)
