The New Cases Gallery

Just finished my latest project. No modding this time, just a conventional build intoa CM690 II advanced using an XSPC watercooling kit for cooling duties.

Full build log here.

New case

Just a couple of shots of my new case. After about 6 years I've finaly retired my CoolerMaster PAC-T01 to "PC from spare parts" duty. It was getting a bit cramped and a few 80mm fans just can't cut it today. Didn't really like the look of any of the modern cases until I spotted this one. It just needs the obligatory Aperture Laboratories sticker on it :D

Can't get over the amount of space in this thing. Cable management made easy...

*edit* Better pictures added.

Thanks for the comments. The two 200mm fans are not any more louder then then "low noise" 80mm's I had in my last case. They blend in with the rest of the system. Most of the noise produced is from the motors but you'd expect that from having to drive a huge heavy rotor. Moves a massive amount of air though.

As for the clock, it was from a well known electronics retailer that I can't name as they also sell PC hardware. I bought a soldering iron at the same as the clock.

Edit. Just took a reading. 1m from the case with fans on low the total system output was around 28DBc. On high it was 39 DBc.

:D

Last week i Purchased a Fractal Define R3, to house my stuff, but after a few hours of tweaking and fiddling around with cables, i just wasn't happy with it.

I just couldn't get the cables nice and tidy, some of it was down to the fact my PSU is so long and was covering up some of the management holes, and also the room behind the mobo wasn't that deep.

I did think about buying a new PSU, but imo the Galaxy is one of the best PSU's ever, so i dont really wanna change it unless i have to.

Anyway instead of posting a nice new case, i'm going to post some pics of my trusty Antec 902.
