My new 800D rig :)

Is that the scythe kaze server controller?

What do you think of it?
No its the Kaze Master Ace but even so its a great fan controller. The only thing about it I don't like is the temperature sensors and I don't use them but otherwise it's great!

Oh, mrk! you fancy pants. You went for a H80. You like? Also did you use the stock paste? as it's pretty good, Shin Etsu.

I really love the cooling block on the new series.

Quite liking it yes! It's dropped my load temps quite a bit now, when gaming it's well under 70 degrees on a warm night and idle around 39 degrees. I have all fans set to 50%~ speed as well.

Installed the CoolerMaster MegaFlow 200mm intake today, it's considerably thicker than the stock Corsair one, I see what you guys meant!

Looks good :D

I also removed the mesh grille using a pair of wire cutters, I think there's more noise than before now as the mesh acted as a buffer but airflow appears to be slightly better due to not having said buffer in front of the fan any more. Still, the MegaFlow is pretty quiet to begin with so it's not an issue :)

Are you keeping the LED's or are you going to snip them to disable them?

I really want a Megaflow, but the nice non LED ones on Coolermaster's website don't seem to be available anywhere.

I'm undecided on the,. I don't like LED lights on fans really but having had a look through the window and vent.....it looks OK on this case!

^That liquid looks crazy good. Like alien goo. Or alien blood. Or alien sperm or something :p. Nice use of the case space, like it a lot.

Reminds me of that scene when they first see the Predator and wound him. The glowing blood.

Though there is one thing I've always wondered, how on earth does a cooling plate with water cool the memory... that makes no sense to me as you're only cooling the top parts of the memory... doesn't seem that effective unlike the air coolers for those. As it blows down the sides of the sticks as well.

I'll say! It's a bit BIG blind. ;)

Though I can't help but feel green and copper reminds me of the GeForce FX 5800 Ultra days. I'm just curious what sort of weight is in that PC seeing the thickness of the tubes, I wonder how much water is through it all.

mrk, I think the megaflow fans are great - I'm planning on getting three in my HAF before long to replace the two non-lit ones and one badly lit one I have currently...

Just having issues convincing the other half that it's worth ~£35 for three big-ass fans lol

The best bit is the SATA enclosure bay at the top, simply plonk in an SATA drive and away you go! Makes my backup routine a breeze now as I don't have to fire up the USB enclosure any more. I can now buy a data storage container to store the backup drive in and take away with me when not at home for security etc.

I'd say if you can budget for it then go for it :p I'd not have gotten it and instead gone for something less than £100 or waited longer until something better came along but I sold a few items and had some cash lying around to burn so thought why not!

I'd be interested to know what you end up buying to keep your backup drives in as I'm looking for something similar. At the moment my 3 backup drives just live in an anti static bag :D.

A dock? Why when the case has one built in....the discussion is about where to put the drives for storage after backup runs have completed. A case/pouch or box etc.

ah sorry mis understood. then like the other lad said anti static bag or the plastic flip lids that some hdds come with for me. oh and i stick a little packet of silicon gel in with each one, dunno why but the habbits been passed down to me from me dad

mrk, have you seen a drop in case temps having inserted the megaflow?

I'm thinking of doing the same with my 600t SE, although like you I will need to relocate the drive caddy else it won't fit due to additional fan width.

Am thinking of the Bitfenix 230mm but worried it won't fit?

Any experience out there peeps?

About 3 degrees under load yeah, idle a bit less. I have removed 2x hdd bays so there is no intake air restriction, all cool air hits the middle nicely.
