The New Cases Gallery

Still use the hoover but keep the hose at a distance so when the compressed air blows the dust out the suction from the hoover sucks the blasted dust away otherwise all you're doing is moving the dust to other areas of the case which is a pointless exercise.

Okay!

The NZXT braided ATX from OcUK came today, it's awesome! Also the SATA III rounded black cables came too. For £2.25 each on eBay they are a bargain and actually feel as good quality as a branded cable you pay more than 2x the amount for. They're 30cm long and are straight ended with latching clips on each head. Just what I wanted :D

I do all my PC building and DIY on the dining room table so I had to carry the PC downstairs. Let me tell you this, my Lian-Li was easy to do this. The 650D? Whoah it's heavy. I'm fairly good with lifting heavy stuff but this is something you need 110% focus on lol.

I also had a tough time getting the cables on the other side flat enough so the door closes without a bulge. There's so many cables that are rugged that it just doesn't leave enough room and they're long cables too. Still, some jigging around and I managed it.

Here's how it now looks:

Also sorted out the USB3 header cable:

There's not really anywhere else to put them without them getting in the way! Corsair GFX power cables are pretty fat! Still, a bit of looping helped :p

Here's my contribution, finally happy with it after 3 different cases and gfx cards etc in the past 12 months, although tempted swapping out the 240 rad in the front for a 360 as have the space ;)

My Corsair PSU GFX power cables are easy to hide, but they aren't the flat style like yours seem to be, they are normal braided cables so hide easily and aren't so much on show like yours are.

Yep, unfortunately the HX psu's use flat modular cables, on my 850, the only braided cables are the 8 pin power, 24 pin atx and two pcie cables. Theese are all hardwired to the psu, the rest are the rather stiff flat cables.

Thats one sweet case. I'm assuming the case is steel? I couldn't get over how light my Lian Li is when everything is out. It's really weightless.

The front panel is aluminium but the rest is steel yes. High quality steel though nonetheless. Unlike Fractal's XL Define I had briefly...

I have put my old PC components into a Fractal Design R3 for my dad and I have to say I too am disappointed in the quality of Fractal Design for the price you pay.

Yeah I was unimpressed so much that I returned it 24 hours later!

I'm going to find a way to tidy away the GFX power connectors, I must as it's now bothering me being the only cables not tidied away!

Edit* Done, easier than I first imagined!
