Just got my Silverstone Raven 01, loving it, but i NEED a new desk now as its quite MAHOOSIVE lol :p

My bro just upgraded his gpu to the same one with the back plate not knowing it came with the better cooling & it cools much better & far more quiet than the stock cooling but only just managed to get it inside the fractal define r3 & it takes up 3 slots :D wouldn't mind upgrading the cooling on my 580 to that cooler, much better than stock :cool:.

Nice rig khemist :) I'm impressed by Silverstone on their design very good design for better cooling on the traditional shape of case & it looks great at the same time, pretty much the cooling I've been doing to all my scratch builds since I started in 2008 (immediate fresh air for system components) except they did it in a way that works for the rising heat, good to see manufacturers using their noggin :D & those fans they make also prevent wires getting caught inside the fans :D.
 
I have been posting on the site for a couple of months now a lot of questions and thoughts on advancing things and i decided to get a 570GTX to upgrade my 5850 this progressed into running a dual 570GTX SLI when i found another card for a bargain price. Since then i have upgraded my CPU/Motherboard/RAM as my old board wasnt good for SLI (PCI-E slots too close together causing the cards to touch and overheat).

Anyways the long story short i have changed my CPU + Motherboard + RAM + 2 new GFX Cards + PSU and since this is pretty much a new build i figured id post something of it.

First attempt at posting pics to this forum so please forgive + correct any mistakes i have made please.

Cooler has arrived and have rebuilt the rig again and tidied up a little and now have it overclocked and been hammering BF3 with it for the past 2 days

Nothing fancy looking here :D Good job its not a windowed case :)

Due for a 2nd 6870 to be put in tommorow and a SSD at the weekend, roll on BF3 :)

i5 2500k @ 4.2 (using OC genie)
MSI GD55 G3 Motherboard
Gainward "Phantom" GTX580 3gb
Corsair M4 256gb SSD
Western Digital 1TB storage drive
8gb RAM
OCZ 1000w PSU

Your thoughts please :)

A few of mine, had to get a new case as the cooler I ordered was never fitting into my m59 case no matter how much I tried.

Finally happy with my system can stop spending now just need a new desk though. Time for overclocking now going to be busy tonight lol.
