The New Cases Gallery

Steveo did you have to mod your V2000 to remove the second HD cage at the bottom or can it just be removed? Is it the same for the First one as well?

Also where'd you get the fan adapter for the front as I can't seem to find what I need for it.

yes mate there are just normal small screws and both of them can be taken out make sure u do it before u fit your kit as it is a bit or pain to do as theere are screws in the top section of the case and underneath, as for the fan adapter the lovely people at ocuk have them and are called the scythe kama bay they do them in black and silver kama bay linky the fan that is supplied is a bit weak so i would change it when u get one, just waiting for them to come back in stock and i am fitting another in the other 3 dvd drives :D hope u like my case :)

GothicGhost, is that a TT mozart?, and if so is it not a bit ott for a micro atx board?

It is indeed a mozart tx case :D

but i was going to upgrade after getting this case but i got a motorbike instead lol

So i am stuck with this setup untill i can save a bit more and get a new setup :)

I did not think my MD is micro size cause the TX can hold micro MD on the otherside and looking at the space it looks like my MSI MS-6743 wont fit  ( i could be wong ) :D

Bit of a clean up of the inards (dusting was not carried out :p)

Twin cube, twin phase change

Okay, something a little different...

This is my twin Lian Li PC343B monster. The bottom case was extensively modified to hold my (modified and upgraded) Vapochill Lightspeed phase change cooler and also a phase change waterchiller (cooling the GPU). This is a WIP at the moment - a sort of test run before I upgrade the motherboard, CPU etc. Currently running a Core2 6700 @ 3.9 Ghz and a single 8800GTX. Going to wait for the next gen GFX to come out before upgrading the complete system.

The hard disk rails are from a Lian Li V2000 case. There are three cooling loops, one from the chiller for the GPU, one for the motherboard chipset blocks and another for the vrm blocks (as they are a different metal to the chipset blocks).

lol your a stones through from me jonhuz :) nice setup just a shame you used an overpriced and overbranded case but apart from that :p

Overpriced, but quality through and through. It was a lovely case for my first build. It's a sturdy, quiet beast.

Specs:
Q6600 running @ 3.2 (400x8)
Asus P5k
WD Raptor X 150Gb (a little noisey, but super fast)
WD Caviar 500Gb
Corsair HX 620W
BFG 8800 GTX
4Gb Geil Black Dragon

24" Dell :)

Wish I'd spent a bit more on the mobo. Fair amount of vdrop, but i'm happy with temperatures/speed on the cpu. Just know it can take more!

i love that people have the grate set-ups that cost a hell of a lot and take a lot of work and have a camara that works as well as if it came free in a box of cornflakes or something
