The Hiper Osiris looks quite nice though i think id rather have a clear window rather than a mesh side panel. cant imagine it helps airflow much either or does it?

Is that a 120mm fan you're running from motherboard? Is that not a bit of a strain, I thought it was best to run directly from psu?

I'd love to plug my 120mm cpu fan into my mobo to get a reading but thought it would blow the board?

You can run 120mm fans from the motherboard, the motherboard manual should state what the maximum current draw from each fan header. I think high power fans like the Delta's are a no.

Never knew that, I have a low-power 120MM fan and a DFI-Expert (Quality board), would that be ok do you think?

Also, you said fanS, is it safe to run more then 1?

My Abit IP35 Pro has 6 fan headers, plug one fan in each, if they are low power fans you might get away with plugging 2 in!:)

Your fans will be fine.

I have at least 2 or 3, I think (without opening up the case and checking), connected to my ASUS P5K Deluxe and it's fine.

Thanks for replies :)

I'm sure I remember reading a post a post on XS of someone showing a pic of a new build and they had their 120mm fan plugged into the header. It was followed by loads of 'Disaster waiting to happen, remove fan now!' posts. Ever since then I've always directly connected my fans to PSU, which is annoying (as said above) as i cannot get any fan readings.

I'm in the process of upgrading my PC so will move the fans over when I get chance. Thanks for help.

I was running 4 120mm 88cfm yateloon fans off the mobo, didn't have any problems, have changed to a fancontrol now tho as it helps keep the noise down.
