Hi bud, the main reason for the outside fan is only becuase I have the H50 in a push - pull config. It works slightly better than Corsairs advertised 1 fan (pull) config. The mouting outiside just means there is more internal space.

Just wanted to move into a smaller case so from the Fractal Design R2:

I moved it into the SG03-F:

It was a pain to fit it properly as it was my first time working with a small case. Patience was needed.. But it's all good now

OK, so I got my Corsair 650D earlier this week.

Had a first lash up at it --

OK so it needed a few bits and bobs but it worked which i was pleased with... so after a few odds and ends here is the next lash up --

It still needs loads of work tidying cables, I think i will ditch the ***** USB header plus I should have a pair of white cold cathodes coming soon to illuminate it. The back of the mobo tray is the bain of my life though, as with most things in life, the more space you have the more stuff you try to cram in it.

Very happy so far though

(sorry to spam two threads with the same post)

Note the ghetto mod to the Ikea PC table to make this case fit

Also added some cold cathodes and tidied a couple of cables. Loving this case!

I had one of the lights at the bottom of the case but the glare was too much so moved it so it was vertical on the drives.

Looks much better imo.

What light kit did you use bud? OcUK have some but just wondering what size and make you went for?

The Xonar DX requires a PCI Express x1 slot, and unfortunatly the only other one on the board is covered by the graphics cards cooler.
