My only disappointment was the built in fan controller only has switches for the two fans already connected and no extras, and there's no drive bays for any external fan controller. Need to look into using the motherboard headers with a splitter.
I'm looking through this thread and now I fancy a new case. Currently own a pretty ugly Haf-X but while it's ugly it's also a cracking case. There's so much room in there and the air flow is amazing but i've had it for so long that now I fancy something new!
Thanks, the old setup was one of those temp jobs that ends up being run for years, glad to finally have it sorted. It got so bad that for most games I had to turn SLI off and it would cook with the side panel on. now CPU never goes over 45 and GPUs over 47.
Gonna replace the 850w with a 1kw PSU as its screaming at the moment under load but otherwise all running well. I have to say using all EK parts and fittings makes watercooling effortless.
Thanks I did mount 3 120mm fan on the front. They are Scythe Gentle Typhoons, the screws I used had the standard phillips/hex heads which are a little big with the fans so the front panel was tight to fit back on.
Yes its the same pump, I have been running it for the best part of 5 years now but it still seems to keep going strong. Its an Alphacool VPP655 I got from OC in 2010.
