It's been about 8 years since I've built in a mid tower case (have stuck to SFF / ITX builds for years now) but the 4000D airflow is a great case and the build was really straightforward. It's a lot nicer not scratching and cutting your hands trying to squeeze cables and fans into small spaces in a sub 10 litre build - and instead having plenty of space to route cables! Reused almost all of my parts from my Ncase build, just had to grab an ATX motherboard and PSU, some extra fans for intake and then some sleeved extensions to have it all looking neat and tidy.

Now rocking an NR200 after using the Q58 for a while, it just wasn't the best in the end. This however I'm so much happier with. Just installed my reference 6950XT which looks fantastic in there and the whole system is really quiet now. While I'd love to do a bit better with the cable management I don't use a side window just the vented panel so having them all wrapped up the way they are works just fine :)

Great temps with the slim Noctua fans on the bottom for intake and on the top for exhaust.

I hate seeing peoples pc’s like this as I know I will never get a pc that’s looks this good.

Looks amazing but I neither have the time, money or skill to do it.

My downsized machine in a Itek Evoke/Sama IM01. Very unassuming from the outside! Will fit an ATX PSU which I tried initially just for the challenge, but even with a relatively compact 140mm unit it was still a pain. Much easier with an SFX PSU. Size wise it’s nice and compact but the ability to use an MATX motherboard is really nice. It’s barely any bigger than an NR200.

32GB Crucial DDR4 3600 CL16
Reference 6950XT
500GB Gen4 NVME OS drive
2TB Gen4 NVME Games
2TB Gen3 NVME Games
1TB SSD Storage
SF750 PSU with a Noctua Chromax 92mm fan
Noctua NH-U12A HSF drawing air in from the rear
2x Noctua NF-A12x25 Chromax drawing air in from the bottom
2x Fractal 120mm fans blowing out the top

Will probably update the CPU to a 13700k next year but wait and see.

I bought a O11D EVO (thanks Damien @ OCUK for price matching) on the chance that I go utterly bat poop mental on the 12th and am daft enough to spend whats needed to buy an aib 4090.
As much as I like my Corsair 680X, a 4090 just wouldn't fit :(
And so began the laborious task of swapping everything from one case to another.
It's a bit half assed and can't hold a candle to the builds on here, but it'll do for now, and with the new case I'll go full water cooled sooner rather than later.
