Just got back into Guitar Hero II and downloaded the Soilwork song 'Exile' (I didn't even know a new album had been released .. Oct 2007 :eek:

)

Anyway, I think it's a really good song

I'm still suck on Hard however

What other downloadable songs are worth the purchase ?

As you've started a new thread I'l tell you how I've finally finished GHII on Hard. Chuffed to bits though I still can't beat any of the Tier 7+ songs on GHIII, stupid game, stupid developers, stupid publisher, stupid, just stupid.

i went back to this the other week to try and finish it off. i managed to complete expert and am almost finished 5* hard. stuck on select few. misirilou, freya, Psychobilly Freakout and Hangar 18, i can 4star them and am like 10k short on each one of 5*

Why is that Abooie? Do you consider 3 to be harder than 2? Myself I'm a decent medium level player and I've got a couple of songs to go on GH2 medium to 5 star. Yet I can only get about baracuda on GH3 with 5 stars.

To me it seems a tad harder.

gh3 on hard is around the same level as the first few sets of expert on gh2, gh3 expert is a lot harder especialy that last set. queens of the stone age killed my hand.

I think 3 up to tier 7 is probably easier, than

GHIII was my first game. I 5* all songs on Medium but got stuck on tier 5/6 on hard.
I then picked up GHII and 5* all songs on Medium on my first go then worked on hard. Each tier was a little bit harder than the one before but there were no great leaps. I finished Jordan on my 3rd go and have done it again since.

So I've gone back to GHIII and completed tier 6 (wasn't too bad) but the leap to tier 7 is stupid. I need to play them a bit more but I really do think the developer has missed a trick.
