these look pretty good for the gym, so was thinking of getting one, just wondering if anyone else had one yet and what you thought of them?

Very good for a gym mp3 player due to being so damn light.

Very basic, and extremely easy to use. Just copy music over to it and thats it, press play! Very good sound quality and battery life.

thanks mate! that's what i wanted to hear :p

I have one, used it at the gym a few times (only joined up recently). I'm liable to forget it's there, so I suggest clipping it to the side of your waistband if that's an option, especially if you're likely to do floor exercises involving laying facedown, as I normally keep it on one of my front belt loops... and laying on it. Which I worry about.

But yeah, it's darn nice, not at all restrictive/swingy. Nice technical terms there.
5/5 for Gym, anywho.

How are you getting along with it at the gym?

Any cons? Where do you put the ipod, in your pocket or do you have an armband?

It's got a built in clip so you can attach it anywhere you want on your clothes.

it's perfect for the gym, so light you can clip it to the neck of your vest/t-shirt, very tough and can take a good drop :p

had mine for ages, dont know about the new version but the normal one is great. I use all the time at the gym and just keep it in my pocket then zip it shut. Its had loads of sweat in it and still works fine.

Using some sony MDR-ED228 headphones but one of the in ear parts fell off and it was more comfy without it then I put some of the spare ear pad things around them. They are by far the best headphones Ive ever had and best player. oh they are damn loud headphones, much better than the crappy standard ipod ones

(I even had a nano and prefer my shuffle, because you just put music on it and listen to it then change every week or so, better battery life aswell)

The old shuffle sounded much better, and even my Samsung flash player sounds better than the new shuffle. But in a noisy environment like a gym its probably good enough.

I've just recently bought the 4 GB Apple iPod Nano and am very pleased with it.

I think the sound quality is excellent and with 24 hours of battery life and storage for up to a 1000 songs, it is much more convenient than using a portable CD player.

yeah i like the look of the new nanos but i have the ipod video and now the new shuffle for the gym, so i can't really buy a nano aswell.... or can i :p
