The new Itunes

I d/led the new Itunes a like last week and its been nothing but a pain in the rectum, the sounds crack up at random moments and when I minimise it the track sort of 'skips' I never had this problem with the old one, has anyone got some suggestions... I know there are a lot of people here who are anti Itunes please try and keep it out of the thread I just need help with it not an argument

try reinstalling it for starters?

I've tried repairing it, how do I reinstall without loosing all my songs?

There's a big thread in Windows about it, seems like it's just a bit buggy at the moment, and there's not a great deal that can be done.

I'm guessing its an issue with XP users? I'm using iTunes 7 on OSX Tiger and no issue there - only skips when I add an album art from my dashboard wiget.

Used to be able to play WoW while listening to iTunes, now it seems I can't fart near the PC without it going crackly and skipping.

Really hope Apple sort this ASAP.
