the new kawasaki H2

Odd.. I don't like the look of it to be honest. I bet it's absolutely insane though :P

I was followed by an R1 the other day that had quite a distinct whine coming from it. Are superchargers becoming popular now?

I love it. Nae chance of me being able to afford one though. Some reports of starting prices being around the £30k mark. Unsure if that is accurate though.

I remember Peugeot had a little scooter with a supercharger fitted

296bhp is insane!!!! im suprised at the trellis frame that it could cope with all that hp

twice the power of a zx10r nearly:eek:

MCN reckon the road version will have ~80bhp less, which is a shame, I wonder how easy it'll be to get some of them ponies back (supercharger pulley perhaps?), cause of course road bikes need 300bhp :D :p

I can't see a weight mentioned, but seeing as it's a steel frame, lets say 230kg for now.

That would give the power/weight ratio of 1286hp per tonne....

Even if it was heavy (250kg) it'd still be over 1100hp per tonne.

I think it looks hideous and made of LEGO.
Minimalist dash looks very paltry, like it was designed by someone who normally designs cars.

I'll stick with my FJ, thanks...

I'm just glad one of the big manufacturers have gone all out and built something absolutely bonkers for a change.

Hopefully will spark some life into the rest and we'll get some more interesting bikes as a result. Well I hope anyway!

I think I may have let go a bit of sex wee. Awesome looking animal. Great to see a big player like Kawasaki doing something bonkers.

I was wondering when bike manufacturers were going to start using turbos and superchargers again. I guess I now know.
