The *New* Official C&C3 Thread

Still in pre-release status, argh! Why I bought it from here, I've no idea, stupid company! Well, it was £18.49 but looks like it'll be next week before I get it :(

BeatMaster :D

Woot, got my copy today from work. Boss lemme have it early. Brilliant game, especially loving the cut scenes and story telling. Just started a NOD campaign and loving it so far!

Sounds promising, I hope mine manages to turn up tomorrow now :)

Mine was posted today, now I need to see how long it takes royal mail to shift it almost the length of the country.

*****I WOULD JUST LIKE TO OFFICALY POINT OUT THAT IM OFFICALY GOING TO GET THIS GAME ON FRIDAY*****

Ps could some kind sole please point out any bad grammer/spelling in an **Official** manner.

:)

I should get the game tommorow.

But I wont be playing it much until they release the patch which swaps the right click UI back to the usual C&C left click interface.

They should have just left it like EVERY other C&C game.

THE VERDICT:
It's certianly fun, but SupCom's depth has me spoilt. It can be quite frentic and atmospheric at times, but at others, it just reminds you of it's 1990s roots.

Wouldn't be surprised if this is in the options :)

Pre-ordered mine on the 20th of Feb, and only now are they processing my payment! Was hoping to have it today/tomorrow, as off for a week with the mrs from Sat!! Arghhhhhhh, i'll have it a week before I can play it.

And you cant zoom out enough to actually see what is happening, does look great though, just doesnt do it for me over Supp Comm.

Personally i just found SupCom too laborious and slow. CNC3 on the other hand is much faster and frantic.

I think you are right about the zoom though. Because of SupCom i just want to zoom all the way out and see the whole battlefield.

you need to complete the Nod and GDI campaigns first.

when i get hold of the xml files, i will mod them to increase the level of outward zoom :)
