Hello all,

I've been doing some work on the rehosting of the stats site for the photo competition. I've done a bit of recoding, and I've put in all the data I've got for the 2006 season. It still needs some work on the coding side to add some features, but it's basically usable at the moment.

I'm hosting it at http://ocukphotocomp.growse.com.

I'll try and get every photo submitted up on the site - I've asked Richday if he's got them digging around as they're not all in the archive.

What's also missing is the results breakdown and theme of Round 1 from the last season. I've got the total for each person, but not the individual tech,impact and theme marks. I think the results thread has been pruned from this forum now, so if anyone has these lying around, could they please let me know :)

My current to-do list for features is:

  • Sorting by round scores on the seasons page
  • Add the actual photo entries and enable viewing of these
  • Individual user page, charting individual stats and graphs
  • General round stats, with maybe some graphs showing how the standard per round varies
  • Actually do the design!

If anyone has any requests, please post them here, and I'll add them to the list. Equally, I'm focussing on the content, so the design is a bit primitive at the moment. If anyone feels like whipping a stylesheet together, feel free :)
 
The actual results bit is a bit chaotic, need a simplified version of the Season 5 results ie

Mr Blobby
Season 5 Total Points 500
Final Position #1

Mrs Blobby
Season 5 Total Points 450
Final Position #2

and so on. I appreciate you can do this by sorting the total, but still looks a bit chaotic to my eye with all the breakdowns for each round.
 
If you need all the pictures for last season I have them. Its about 100mb so I'm not sure how I could send them.

Nice site, I've updated my sig accordingly.

Good job. I look forward to seeing the archive of pictures as well.

Found another bug - some people's total scores in the Round 5 detail screen are incorrect. Eg, look at paradigm - one round entered with a score of 62, yet total score is doubled to 124.

An archive of all the entries would be awesome too!

I prob should get a photo taken tonight for this months comp!!!


BUG: The sorting appears to be case sensitive. ie ABCabc, whereas I'd have thought the intention would be to have AaBbCc?

Unfortunately not, if you have a Bit Torrent tracker I could make a torrent. But there's got to be a more suitable way.
