yeah that does look pretty cool.

I like the idea of the PSU being mounted in the bottom as standard, makes life much easier if you want to install a rad for watercooling.

not too sure of where the front intake is if you were satying with air cooling though :o
 
yeah I noticed that sucker too.

I think its one of the oldschool ones you CAN get hold of when they come up to auction. Unless of course SS had it specially made for them, which wouldnt suprise me...
 
Very nice looking case. Don't wanna know how much its going to cost though :eek:

They look like Pioneer 109s, I've got a pair in my rig, very nice drives. I know harib0 has a few aswell.
 
They are indeed pioneer 109s, they were limited edition drives and sold very quickly, however if you search hard enough you will still find that a few places have them listed, actually having them in stock may be a different matter!

The one in the picture is actually a retail drive as it's branded with pioneer - these retail drives were not available in the UK. Only the bare OEM drives without the pioneer branding were available.

OEM DVR109-XLC(1) (silver)

tThere was also a beige one XLA(1) and a black one XLB i think.

They were approx £45 when new and currently (a beige one) go for about £22 (auction not long ended)
