With (Sir) Nigel standing down to enjoy his retirement having achieved his lifelong ambition, who is going to succeed him as leader of the party that is known for now as UKIP? They'll have to have been a member of the party for five years, ruling out household names such as Suzanne Evans, Raheem Kassam and Arron Banks. Whoever it is, they have some pretty big boots to fill. Bring it on :D

You're still calling him Sir despite how he's just scuttled off after things got real and he realised he might actually have to do something instead of bitching and whining?

Eh? What could he have done? The EU Parliament hate him, he wasn't an MP, the tories said he would have no part in the negotiations.

He completed his life's work, and then stepped down.

He could have acted with a bit more grace upon exit, throwing tantrums and saying i told you so in EU parliament was not the best idea. Though i agree there is little else he could do post brexit.

I imagine UKIP will fizzle away a little bit year by year, unless they set a new radical target.

He's completed nothing yet, especially when it comes around that we'll be just in an EU Lite kind of deal and possibly in a worse position than before :p

Fortunately the one good thing that may come from all this Brexit malarkey is the hope that UKIP dies a quiet death...

With Snk Farage gone they have no leadership and already had no respect. They were a one-trick pony and I can't for one second think of any way they can be credible in anything now.

Indeed .... Like how best to stir racial hatred while making sure we blame immigrants for all our problems.

Also must be able to say "I'm not racist but" while chugging a pint of bitter down!

What a complete knob head... Good riddens

He campaigned all his political career for a Brexit and got it. He's not a Tory, he can't be involved in talks. What's left for him to do? His job was to force a referendum and win it, that's what he did.

I predict this thread will get no where, pretty much like UKIP

I agree on your first point but not on the second. Without growing support for UKIP Cameron would never have offered a referendum (which he thought would never happen and he would win if it did). Like them or loathe them they have been incredibly influential. However they are pretty much finished now their work is done.

Yes, I'm sure those posters showing migrants from outside of the uk queuing up to come here really help changed the mind of the retarded ukip supporters (or I'd say around 90% of their supporters )

"He's not a tory"... ROLFCOPTER!

He's a tory, a right wing tory posh boy. You're blind pal

Haha, keep your hair on. :D

No matter what happens from here on out, he's accomplished more than any other politician in decades. He's literally on the level of Churchill at this point, people just don't understand it yet.
