****The Nintendo 3DS Thread****

Its beautiful, transfer didnt take too long (10 minutes). Just finished A link between worlds on hero mode.
And the 3D is so much better, now I can continue playing MM. :D

I only need one more piece of heart.

Gonna have to dive in and get me the new one...got many many games to catch up on.

Haven't had a Nintendo handheld since the original ruby/sapphire

I concur, the improved 3d is a great leap. Playing on the bus or train is now fine for keeping the 3d nice.

If only I could switch off mandatory motion controls, like the balancing parts in LM2.

Donkey Kong Country Returns is presently a cake walk - at what point does it start to get difficult? DK Tropical Freeze was rock hard - I beat that with only seconds spare before I completely lost my mind and microwaved the game disc.

CR has been a breeze so far - I'm at the end of CLIFF level, are there some nasty levels lurking ahead?

So I sold my Majora's Mask 3DS XL (since it cost so much) and I can't decide whether to go for the normal New 3DS or the new 3DS XL. The XL obviously has the bigger screens, but the poor pixel density is really off-putting (another reason I sold the MM edition). The New 3DS will have a better pixel density but is smaller.

Does anyone know if places like Argos or GAME have demo units so I can compare the two?

So you havent come across any of the barrel blast levels yet? Only played it on the Wii not the 3DS but I heard they toned down the difficultly on 3DS version.

Yes I think I've done two of them at least - maybe 3 - not entirely sure. The last one with a giant hand puppet thing that looks a bit like a Bat - chasing me spewing out lazer beams? Lost about 10 lives - still nothing like the difficulty of Tropical Freeze - some of those levels took like 40 lives straight!

Aw I'm disappointed to read that... My missus has got it me for my birthday next week and with DKC on the SNES being one of my all time faves I'm really looking forward to it!

Whilst waiting (not wanting to start MM just yet since I only just finished OoT) I downloaded Shovel Knight, I'm pretty much finished (last stage) but damn thats a hard game, thoroughly enjoyed the challenge!

See how you get on with it. I'm not finding it tough but that's not to say I'm not enjoying it - it is bloody brilliant fun, some of the levels are very satisfying.
