There’s been lots of fish and chips posted recently. How much is a fish supper where you are? I note that they only have one piece of fish. In Glasgow, you always get two fish. It’s around £7-8.

I’ve never seen cod in Scotland! It’s haddock or nothing.

That’s about right for here. £7.50 for the cod and £3.50 for the chips (which is scandalous for a few potatoes)

Local chippy menu

HR's was £13.99 a pop. So for three of us with three pots of tea was just shy of £50!!

Tonight's (small) tea as didn't have lunch till going on 3pm

Butternut Squash and sage ravioli with pesto and freshly made rosemary and sea salt focaccia
