The **Now Eating** Thread

Curry is lovely on it's own with just the sauce but rice is great too, to soak it all up. But when there is lots of just sauce on it's own it's great to mop up with some bread or pop.
Sauce looks good enough on its own tbf.

I've gone right off rice recently with a curry, id rather a big naan and popodums to soak up sauce. If I could just have a portion of pilau rice from the takeaway id wolf it down, whenever I do it, its just meh.

This is so true. Rice from a takeaway is just so good compared to home made. It’s the same with egg fried rice from the Chinese.

Tbh, ethnic food in general is like that. Us brits fail dismally when it comes to foreign food compared to the takeaways.

I find chinese easier to do recreate at home, my egg fried rice is pretty close to a takeaway. I did dabble with the BIR recipes from curry recipes online for a bit with some success although never quite the same.
