What does sounding like Danny Dyer have to do with pronouncing purple burglar alarm properly? Not sure how you made that correlation

Ok I'll give it a bash....

*contains assumptions

You read my post and correctly inferred from the grammar that I'm Scottish, you then replied with a question asking if I can say "purple burglar alarm" - which plays on the cliche stereotype of folks from the Glasgow/West Coast area that have some trouble saying that particular phrase due to their accent.

To which I replied to inform you that I am indeed not afflicted with the strong 'Glasgwegian'-esque accent that has commonly been stereotyped on all Scots, and have absolutely no problem saying "purple burglar alarm" coherently. And to mirror your humerous assumtion, I included a version of my own - that everyone from England must sound like Danny Dyer (Cockeny accent) as its also a cliche stereotype.

I consider the matter closed...back to food.
