The **Now Eating** Thread

just made home made tagliatelle with the kids with a nice bolognese sauce and garlic bread.....its all gone now though and no pics!
 
Mrs Lego is away this weekend, means I can break out the OFFAL!

Lambs liver, mash, crispy smoked bacon, caramelised onions and red wine reduction!

She needs to go away more often!
 
Offal is fantastic when cooked properly, problem is it has a bad reputation of your nan roasting the life out of it, or pub "chefs" overcooking it!

One of my favorite meals is Calves liver, it just needs to be cooked properly.
 
I'm like Lego. I love offal but the family doesn't.

I love a bit of liver dusted in flour and pan fried with streaky bacon, mash, peas and fried onions.
 
I have picked up a cold this weekend. so instead of the lasagne and roast chicken I have started making today. I had four mince pies, three whiskies and ginger wines and now a cup of tea then bed. :(
 
Pizza Tonight...that pizza disc is coming in handy (Round oven tray with holes in it to let hot air get to the base...nobody likes a soggy bottom!)
