**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Guys it would make life easier if you say what version of Windows version you are on too, because not all Windows Versions with the drivers behave the same.

So as people keep stating problems then others say nope not seeing that but they maybe on a different version of Windows. This thread is not really helpful if these things are not stated at the time.

Im on Windows 10. I'm assuming it's to do with my fans, because micro atx in a full tower.. the airflow is far from the card.

My card is idling at 49c. I was used to seeing it at around 33-35. Have had a window open but no luck.

They can be funny things, computers. I remember when I first got my 980Ti that it idled at very low temps - like 20 - 24 at a push, but a driver later I noticed it was running around 24C as a minimum, but sometimes would rise 10 - 15 degrees higher. :/ In my case, it was down to power management not being set to adaptive in the NCP - and a warmer location within the house where my pc is now situated.

Yeah, i was "this" close to ordering a new case and fans trust..

What would have caused that? my core and memory clocks were 1050/3xxx something.. idle.

I'm on Windows 8.1 and I find that any Metro program (I try not to use this crap) launched, even if minimised, will run my card at max core/memory.
I have to kill the process via task manager to stop them.
