Doubt it. Nvidia owners have had superior like for like performance ever since the 600 series came out. At 1080p this driver pulls AMD level or just ahead depending on the game. There still ain't much between them at 1080p.

At a larger res then the difference is now quite large as I am going to hopefully report when I get my second card overclocked.

I don`t want to start a flame war but it was just an opinion They wanted to make sure the problems were ironed out before opening the forums again. It took AMD less than 48hrs to bring theirs back up after being hacked.

So what was the real reason - it wasnt security for sure.
