What is honour?

Honesty, fairness, or integrity in one's beliefs and actions.

Outstanding qualities that are amongst the best a man can possess.

This year I have selected the Men of Honour myself. There are just three, but they are special people whom I believe understand the true meaning of honour. Over the years they have each demonstrated their love of the OcUK forums and always been there to help others in any way they can. They believe in what is right and we are very lucky to have them as members.

It gives me great pleasure to announce the 2008 Men of Honour.

Lopéz - truly a man of values
Berserker - as honest and helpful as they come
dmpoole - a real gentleman with a heart of gold

Let's hear it for the 2008 Men of Honour :)
 
I've only had contact with Lopez and Dmpoole and I agree with Spie on these, Lopez has always been happy to help me with advice on holidays in the past, and dmpoole strikes me as a role model parent.
 
I haven't even heard of/can't recall of berserker :(.

Three great lads. I've met Lopez and Berserker and can vouch that they are true gentlemen and powerful craic. Lopez even let me stroke his stubble :o I haven't met dmpoole but even though he and I have had our differences occasionally, I still have a lot of time for him and would like to meet him at some point.

Well done chaps. Thoroughly deserved :)
 
Can't say i've got a bad word to say about any of them, congrats are in order!

Some of the previous years MOH are dubious at best though (2005/6 I think)! Would OCUK ever revoke the status?

Some people in the past have had the status revoked. One of the original MOH members from 2003 (Shak IIRC, the young chap who frequented the Linux forum) had it revoked after some shady activity.
