Does anyone know if Rebellion/Sega are releasing a demo or beta or something? Out the end of next month so thought they may ahve done something?
 
Very tempted to pre-order @ £17.99. But I hate having disc based games now I'm used to Steam.

Anyone know if this will be Steam activated? Like Modern Warefare 2.

I suppose I could just take an image of the disc and use Daemon Tools...

I don't know if it will be steam activated franky. I love steam too, no disc swapping, automatic updates. What I usually do is preorder the game and if it comes to steam at a reasonable price, I cancel my preorder and go with steam. Doubt it'll be anywhere near 18 quid though :S so it might be worth getting the disc.

i dont like steam as my c drive is only 250 gig and more to the point my internet sucks donkey balls iv been dling star treck open beta for 2 days now and its on 75% lol

Sounds like Steam only to be honest, which I don't actually like. I'd rather it was optional.

But it's ordered now, never been this excited about a game since AVP 2. They are just awesome :D
 
I've never used steam before so how does that work if you get the disc through the post and the extra content via steam? Can you choose to play the game via steam without the disc or something? I also noticed that although it is a games for windows procut its not GFWL.

Also, anyone got any idea of minimum specs required?

I honestly can't bring myself to buy games if its not on steam. I feel I've spent way too much money on steam now to start buying games on a DVD disc.

Also, want game now.

Also, have ocuk lighted up on posting competitors? I've seen people link to other sites without anything happening.
