I was shocked to see theres no official thread yet! Especially considering today is the release day. I decided I should make one to right this wrong.
Now I cant afford to buy it for a little while myself but I loved the last one, and I'm eager to hear what people think of this one. I played the demo through and like the idea of the AOE3 style cumulative improvements from every game benefiting your next game thanks to that ark thing, and am curious to see how it translates in to the main game.

Any comments welcome!

I enjoyed the demo, and I have ordered the game, so hopefully it should be with me today. I will write a mini review after I have had a good play.

On the demo half the features on the page say "need to have an internet connection enabled for this to work" or something similar. The only thing that worked without is the campaign I beleive. Dont know about you chaps but my main enjoyment is the continuous game and mp :p

I've still not played the campaign on Anno 1404, and racked up probably 100+ hours on that.

The offical website says release is the 18th as well, so apparently no play for me today :/
