Due to the other thread being for reviews and discussion and the odd overclock having read it I have decided to open a new thread purely for 6950 owners.

Purely to make the results more accessible.

Please post your clocks drivers voltage etc...

At the moment I am just running some 3D 11 and trying to get Heaven to run :o

I was sure it was you that sold your 6870 because you wasn't playing games enough, and it was your mate that was upgrading to a 6950 :p :D

Good thread though Easy, looking forward to some results :)

I felt left out so bought one myself to bench and play with over the holidays.:o

I got a stable clock using MSI at 880Mhz on the core and 1450Mhz on the memory. Temps didn't go above 70C with a custom fan profile. No artifacts visible but driver keeps crashing on anything higher.

There is definately room for more but need to wait for the voltage tweak to try higher.

There seems to be an issue with a lot of 6950's and Unigine Heaven. Only way around it I found was to click on the direct11.bat file which runs the application. Then benchmake once inside.

Doh! Just noticed I already told you that on another thread! /facepalm :)

Do you have to register you card to run Trixx?

No you get it from a site or somebody thats uploaded it. From sapphire you need to register though. Surprised you never had trixx for your 6870. So far on my 6870 i have 1050 core and 1200 memory using trixx. The 6950 seems to be getting around the same kind of overclock percentage.

Trixx allows for 1.3v but i hear you can get 1.5 with some version of afterburner.
