From what i've seen not so much as regular BF2, they are still pretty deadly on some maps though. It seems the maps have themes, some being 100% infanty, some being fully armoued orientated.

and yea, Fallen is a superb map and the Frontlines gamemode is such a blast.
 
Well tried it and thought it was quite poor overall. Just has that slightly bland and low quality feel that blights many mods. Also the gameplay design seems to be based around the dev's vision of how the game should be played rather than how people actually are going to play it, once again something that many mods fail to get right, and something that bf2 certainly did get right.

Well heres my experiance with reinstalling BF so far:

---First try
Install BF2,
Install Patch 1.3,
Install patch 1.3 and get patch failed error,
Run BF2 and it seems to work but with some label errors,
Intall POE v1,
Run POE - Label errors still there but try to connect to servers anyway and get LOCERROR cdkeyinvalid error,
Uninstall POE then Bf2 and delete any folders left over.

---Second try (Redownloaded Patch 1.3)
Install BF2,
Run BF2 but get windows error (send log to windows thing, "Dont send" of course :P),
Uninstall BF2,
Delete any folders left over.

---Third try
Install BF2,
Run BF2 and get the same error,
Install patch 1.3 and get patch failed error,
Run BF2 and get the same error,
Uninstall BF2,
Delete any folders left over.

Whine on OCUK about it.

I formated and had the exact same problem the 1.3 patch kept coming up with errors not matter what i did, in the end i downloaded it again and all went in fine after that.
 
I prefer this mod to BF2 really.

The choppers can be quite overpowering. You can easily take a chopper up on your own, and with the lock on missiles take down plenty of armour, but once some AA is up it can cause problems.
 
they would'nt be because Phys coding is both very complex and copywrited.

i've just played a game, found it to be most excellent.
 
Well ive installed and played 2 games. Runs about the same for me as Vanilla does however it seems to take longer for the levels to load and even when they have the "Enter Game" button takes ages to appear.

I like it however, not sure if its more or less than vanilla yet as i havent had a good chance to play.

Is calling artillary a case of -> Spec ops using binos, LMB on designated area and then switching to your radio and using that??

Had a quick look on the POE website but didnt see anything.
 
i really want to get it, but im on 512k and everytime i get a server to dl it form it starst at 56kb a sec the goes down to 30 whihc will take 8 hours

so? leave it downloading for 8 hours and you'll have it. :rolleyes:
