Only reason mine turned up today was that I bought a copy in town yesterday, typical.

Can you not just go to the local depo today and pick it up? Or even ring em to see if its there first?
 
I think I'm about half way through now and to be honest, I'm getting a bit bored. Don't know why, I can't put my finger on it. Possible too many splicers running round for my liking. I just want to explore with as little interruption as possible and discover the story rather than having to stop every minute and clonk someone and periodically repeat the same shoot/die/respawn/shoot/die/respawn sequence of fighting Bouncer/Rosie.

Yes those are the 2 sisters that you need to harvest...the first one is easy..but the second one...just make sure that you actually see the sister walking around with the big daddy...once you see her then pump the big daddy full of armour piercing bullets...hopefully by this time you will have the plasmid/tonic that zaps people if they get too close to u.

Reason why i say make sure you see the sister in the 2nd part is because if you dont then you kill the big daddy...u will find the sister will respawn along with Big Daddy...trust me it took me a fair few goes to finally nail it.
 
This game is magnificent! My favourite ever. Just love it.

Everything is of such a high quality. Some truely scarey places in there too...

Anyone done the part in the plaza where you go down some stairs and there's a large room filled with water with all these white statues dotted around? SCAREY! Those splicers that can suddenly attack you, disappear in the heat of the battle, and turn in to statues again. I didnt know what was going on!

Also loved the bit where that artist/madman comes down the stairs after you complete the photograph statue.

Ultimately you need to get that key off Steinman i think his name is...once you get it then you need to go back to the emergency exit and use it there.

But this is all dependant on how far you are into the level...ie whats your current objective like the above poster just asked...press the back button.

Have to admit this game isnt all that difficult and im playing on the hardest level...a bit repetitive ie shoot...kill...search...find stuff then move on blah blah blah.....altho the gfx are superb so i guess thats one redeeming feature of the game...

Then he will be in the dental area of the medical pavilion...in one of the rooms...hard bugger to kill but i just spammed him with lots of incineration plasmids then pumped him full of bullets...job done,

Dunno about the 360 version but the PC version is freaking solid at Hard!

Though I did hear about the PC version being harder somewhere, whether that is true or not I'm not sure.

Whats the water look like on the PC version? Hasn't it got DX10 water or something?

Is it any different from the 360 version, personally i think the water on the 360 version look a bit poor.

Hmm well I'm not too sure the best areas to compare the water are after the demo level which is the furthest I've played the 360 version.

The water really is spectacular in places though, there's a Dx10 vs Dx9 video here;

The only really difference is real time ripples, it looks superb on both.

Wow, the DX10 water looks a lot better. When i move backwards in water it looks like the DX9 comparison in that vid.

At last got my "Lucky Winner" achievement on the slot machine! Woot!

Is that dental services that are blocked with ice? How do you get passed the ice?
