yeah i got the collectors edition, big daddy is perched happily on my monitor :D

Not sure whether the making of dvd will have spoilers, might wait until i've finished the game before watching it.

From what i can gather from my old dear who got the mail this morning, he has a broken arm :(

Thought big daddy was ment to be a tough git! Bet a figurine of the little girl wouldn't be broken :p

I thought I was getting a proper soundtrack CD for some reason. And the DVD seems to be mostly just interviews with staff :( Interesting, but hoped it would contain more things like the artbook .pdf.

Or for those that've been following Warhammer Age of Reckoning -the video blogs they've been posting e.g. the audio/music one... I was expecting something like that for each section.

I don't know, WoW was better, i think, but i don't own it. I do know that you got a proper soundtrack cd, with some exclusive tracks on it, and I'm sure that from the vids on youtube that the making of dvd (if there was one) was a lot more how i described.

I don't usually buy CE versions :)

yeah, best one i've seen is either the halo 2 or oblivion ones, both were really interesting. Im hoping Assassins Creed will come with one so i can see more of Jade :D

If it's not come in a van by the time I go out this afternoon, I'll be picking it up in town. :rolleyes:
 
if stronghold did id just get that, just for the demo alone and how they made such an awsome game !!!!! realy cant wait for tht, was gutted that the faceplate ran out of the place i got bioshock at =(
 
I cant fidn the bioshock reviews thread and no search so will just post here...

EDGE magazine give bioshock 8/10, which they also gave to warhawk and heavenly sword gets a 6.
 
Finally managed to get some time last night to play this, superb game...excellent gfx and even the voices were done superbly.

At the mo im at the surgery bit where i have to get that key from that fella...havent got very far but then i only played it for an hr or so before i had to go out with some friends here in Canada. My bro is really impressed with it himself...guess this copy belongs to him then:p.

Did manage to get my copy yesterday at home in the UK but wont be keeping it as i can pick up the same version ie steel tin version here for £25...so have told my youngest bro to stick it in the post today for a refund.

All in all a pretty good game, id give it a 8/10 so far...controls are a bit clunky ie reloading the shotgun takes a bit of time and trying for the 1...2 punch isnt as easy as it sounds.

Just read the Edge review of Bioshock, I'm suprised it didn't get lower than an 8 after the comments the reviewer made, only a couple of paragraphs were positive. Just wish my copy would turn up so I can find out for myself. :mad:

Sorry to hear that mate. Hopefully 2k dont screw us and refuse to replace them. Get in touch with the place you bought it and let them know. The more borken ones are reported the more chance they will be replaced.

Yeah i done that, they said they hope to have an update next week about it. Think it was the same place you got yours from.
 
I got my rental copy delivered this morning (boomerang rocks ), but im at work till 6pm :(
Looking forward to this weekend.
 
I've tried EVERYWHERE to get a collectors edition for the 360, rang practically every **** store upto a hundred mile radius from my area, no joy :( , but managed in the end to get a PC collectors edition for £80 inc taxi fare so not toooo bad, I just can't play this game without Big Daddy standing on my 360 :D .
