Not necessarily.

There are two kind of overclocks.

Benchmark/game stable: For actual real world use

Prime/Torture test stable: Giving you peace of mind that your OC is 100% stable.

Most opt for the second option as so do I, but every at some point will do a benchmark stable crazy OC and post there results.

I opt for the latter however, provides a more realistic sustainable overclock. Personally when I clock I go for the highest BCLK I can then rasie the multi accordingly as I prefer to have a higher bus speed even with Extreme edition unlocked chips.

No need to be so harsh on him, just because he doesn't prime stable everything doesn't mean he doesn't know anything.
 
Whats the best i7 to get for money atm, 920 still?

There all the same spec iirc apart from clocks so why bother getting a 930/40/50 etc? (I'm guessing for a slightly higher clock?)
