Here are some benchmark tests at 4ghz
Here are the results...

Linx 20 passes

Occt(Linpack) 2 hrs

I believe that my pc is very stable at 4ghz,I think i could take this chip much higher but im happy at 4ghz for now. :D

Does anyone have anything over 4GHz stable under 1.3V?

75 c is the sweet spot on air I think

Well, here's some good news guys. After a year, I replaced my NH-U12P SE2 with Noctua NH-D14 and here's the result.

4.2GHz @ 1.2850VCore on an Antec 1200(Fans on low) and Asus Rampage II Extreme board. Who needs water cooling now?:D

Very good oc,but you should try stability with Occt, prime and Linx as i have had success on 1 stability test and fail on another...only by testing all stability tests can you really be 100% sure of stability;)

ok would like some input on this one. Got the 930 @ 4ghz and managed to get 50 passes on LinX, but my vcore seems really high compared to the 920's @ 4ghz.

Am I doing something wrong, have I got a duff chip, or do the 930's need more volts? I'm not greatly experienced in clocking, I stuck my q6600 @ 3.2ghz which was easy.

In my screenshot a few posts up I achieved 3.8ghz @ 1.225v vcore, but to get to 4ghz I've had to pump in 1.356v which seems a big jump.

I wish there was more data on the 930's so I could see what others are doing.

4ghz:

nice oc but your only testing half of your ram here using Linx, you might want to try with 4gb+ to ensure full stability, not that it will matter when playing games.

Edit:Your qpi seems a little high also, mine is set at 125,you may just a need the extra voltage, you could try lowering it a bit.

@reygjabla..nice clocks at decent volts, would it be possible for you to list your bios settings for

Loadline calibration
QPI/Dram v
PPL v

Loadline calibration = Enabled
QPI/Dram = 1.3000
PLL = 1.89xx

Here's 20 runs of LinX and 8 hours of Prime95 small FFT with VCore of 1.2750.

Nice setup m8:)

Thanks m8

Liquid nitrogen?

Phase change

Holy cow that's one big compressor and condensor, what's it tuned for?

About 300w. I havn't got a load tester so i ran Wprime 1024 at 4.9ghz with the Vcore set at 1.55v with Vdroop enabled. At that voltage it holds the evap at -47c.
The pics below are Wprime just before the end of the run showing the load temp at -47c. The second pic is the end of the run showing the idle temp at -48.6c. It stays at the same load temp with 1.6v as well, i havn't run with the Vcore any higher yet.

Having no luck at all OC'ing my 930.

Had it stable on 3.2 GHz, but needs ridiculous amount of voltage (1.38v) to get to even 3.8GHz stable.

Gonna give it another bash later, hoping i just need to keep tweaking settings rather than that I have a dud chip.

You need to post your setting and maybe someone using the same board and cpu would be able to point you to the right voltage settings.

Yeah, sorry I will do later. Im back at factory presets again, and tried a whole load of different tweaks using other ppl's guides but went from a mix of blue screen to no post, to failed Intel Burn Tests.

Will put it up later when I try OCing again.

Whats your batch number?
That does seem a little odd, failing at even 3.8....you might need to reseat the heatsink/reapply thermal paste
