mines fine, im sitting about 11-12 feet away i'd guess

Just measured it! Just under 7 foot and the hand in the menu will dissapear. Yet I can play a game from like 14 foot away maybe more!? Strange!

I havent experienced that at all id say for me it still works at about 3.5 foot.

It's very sensitive. I find I swing it off the screen - a bit like pushing my mouse around too much. Had a right palaver configuring all the wireless security with it what with PSK2 WEP and AES - all mumbo jumbo to me.

I can't seem to connect to the Forecast and News Channels. It keeps telling me I need to update, but when I do, it says I'm already at the latest version. Anyone else having this problem?

Those channels aren't available for the UK yet.

Hey guys

Anyway for me to get online with this thing

I have an Ntl Cable mode, that has ethernet and usb on, I've tried the usb cable into the back, no luck, so guessing I need to purchase the lan adaptor, is that out yet, havent seen it in shops

either wait for the wired adaptor (a couple of months i think), or get a wireless router (assuming you don't already have a router), or get a wireless USB dongle/card for the PC that can act as an access point (the official DS one, or I beleive the Datel one would probably be ideal).

I got the official ds one today, it works fine :)

I can get online, update etc, but when I try to agree to the online terms it gives me an error and says it can't connect. You need to go through that bit before you can do anything online

Can games downloaded on the virtual console be played using the Gamecube controllers ?

Cheers

I've just ordered mine for £160*, and Zelda for about £32. I'm hoping the games will come down in price a bit as ~£40 seems a lot to pay for each one. Am I right in saying that a Classic Controller is required to play Gamecube games, or does that only apply for certain ones? My brother has a Gamecube and I'd like to be able to play some of his games.

Should arrive Tuesday :)

Just taking a quick break from mine. Couple of minor annoyances:

- sensor bar feels very flimsy and the adhesive pads are as much use as a chocolate teapot. Had to use some universal adhesive (blu-tak).

- When you attach a nunchuck - you're supposed to put the wiimote strap through a little bit of the nunchuck. Its so damn fiddly, and it takes ages. Then when you play a game that doesn't like the nunchuck (e.g. wii tennis) you have to undo it all.

Apart from that, its all good though :)

Arty, you'll need a GC controller for GC games (I think they are releasing a new GC type controller as well for a fairly low price), I think the GC controller will also play most VC games with the exception of N64 ones.

The Wii controller can/will do for NES games I beleive.

Well i opened mine instead of selling it and ive got to say...... This is the best thing ever! :D The fact i was playing golf with my dad and he was lining up his shot, making sure his knees were bent and arms weren't was hilarious! (Now thats how you do it son)
On to Zelda!
