I was tempted to say, why not ask if people mind waiting for the next batch, i.e. people getting them for xmas gifts etc. Then sad gits like me can get ours when we NEED them

ROFL, yea good luck, I may try this tactic with the wife and just keep it. The volume of release in the UK will be sufficent to kill ebay prices tbh but you may make a few quid after fees etc. LOL it could even cost you money to sell it. I don't really see there being any shortages unlike the 360 and even then the prices settled down real quick.

Yeah I really cant see people making any money what so ever on these. I could be wrong, but people arent going to pay silly money at all

You could make 200-220 tops, then after fee's and postage, you'll have made like £10-20 profit tops

And they showed me the bundles I had to choose from

Cheapest is £254.99 and includes:

Wii Play
Any Game of your choice

Second is £259.99

Wii Play
2 Games of your choice

Then £279.99 and another one

I didnt see the details of those, would imagine its just more games

I went for the £259.99 one, and added an extra nunchuck too

Sorry for not reading the whle thread, but is it still highly likly that once all preorderes are fulfilled (hopfully), that their will be no Wii's anywhere for the following couple of weeks?

I have one preordered, but im guessing once my mates see it they will want one, would be great for nights in multiplaying!.

just been informed by *the shop that you can read the evening news* that orginally they was to call all customers who had pre-ordered for delivery BUT now if you don't get a call this week your Wii will be with you Friday/Saturday - apparently they are shipping out 15,000 by Reality home courier for delivery

Mine is boxed and ready to be sold on ebay. I was excited prior to launch, just like you guys but once I had one up and running I decided it wasn't for me. GFX are too poor for my liking. This isn't next gen, just current gen with a new style controller.

I dont want to hear but it's all in the games. Yes that's true but next gen is about better gfx, and that the Wii isn't. Besides if it's all in the games then stick with you XBOX or PS2 cos they both have a massive amount of current gen top class hits.

Looks pretty nice though. At least they got that right.

I got my lil bro watching the house thursday/friday so he can sign for it when it arrives.

I agreed to let him open and play it, bit of a shame, since I wanted to be the 1st to touch/lick it, but if he wasn't here to sign for it, I wouldn't be able to pick it up from the post office till next weekend at the earliest.

for some peopel it isnt about the graphics at all. Personally i wont be taking much notice of somebody who has a ps3 and an xbox360 AND the same title on both. sounds to me like you're just here to be noticed...

I had a phone call which relieved me today. I had initially been told that the bundles would be pretty much what we wanted, then I was told on Saturday that I would have to buy a bundle with Cars. Now I've been told - and confirmed - my order of Wii, Wii Play, Zelda, Nunchuck and 1GB card for £290

(Had to have the 1GB card btw, basically paying too much for it, but I'd rather that than Cars!)

the shop i work in, its a competitor so u know, we got them in today. best work day ever, the shop was completely empty for most of the day so we cracked one open and just played wii sports. it was class

so i ordered one today too, and i should hopefully get it before xmas since im staff

28th in queue and they are getting 27 in for midnight launch as I said up there ^^^

They said I'd get the next one out of the second batch of deliveries, which is apparently due thurs/friday so I should get one for launch hopefully anyway! \o/

COMPETITOR! wont be getting my console in for launch. Ahhh i can't believe this! I Pre-ordered way in advanced as well.

I have had a rumour tho..... [competitor] and [competitor] might be getting some in and are on a first come first serve basis. I think i might be camping out for the occassion. Anyone else heard these sort of rumours?

Might want to edit your post, mate... both places sell 360s

Not sure about Tricky Dicky's shops, but the supermarket is definitely first-come first-served (at least my local one is).
