Just chatting to my lil bro, he was over the west end this morning and played on a demo unit.

Said it was excellent, absolutly loved bowling.

I just had that email. Its not fun finding out this late in the game, especially because they had already confirmed it. That was over 2 weeks ago now. I could easily have got one from elsewhere then :mad:
 
Yeah, I'm suprised how man people still seem to think it'll be easy to get, because it's "only" Nintendo, when pre-orders, and demand, have been just as high as it was for the 360, if not more.
 
Nintendo have only shipped part of the promised stock for Nintendo Wii to all retailers within the UK. Due to this, we have only received part of our allocation. We are led to believe by Nintendo that we will receive all stock in time for pre-Christmas delivery. Please accept our apologies for this delay

I have 3 orders with that particular company, a console and a few bits so no idea what will get dispatched on time if anything.

Not too bothered, well, as long as my high street store comes through as promised :cool:
 
I've also just had that email stating I won't be receiving it for launch day. Only 2 weeks ago I had an email saying I would be receiving it for the launch date.

Had it on pre-order since early October as well, nevermind! It'll get here eventually :)

The place i ordered my Wii from advertised, and guaranteed, a Wii within the first week of launch, yet now i get a message saying that they cant guarantee it! :mad:

Zelda is listed as 'ready for dispatch'.
Im just wondering what grounds i have to complain with if they dont ship within the first week of sale. Seeing as thats what it was advertised at.

me and my mate went to out local shopping place to look at a wii stand (its up, but wasnt plugged in :() and afew other shops asking about pre orders.


the "local comp shop" where another mates pre order saying "being piked" just told me they wont have any till feb, regarding pre orders and in store.

Best phone/confirm your getting your pre orders. :)
