Is there anywhere else offering digital download? Blizzard seem to be a bit backward on the pricing of them ones and zeros.
 
I have a pre-order from Game, placed it in 2008 for £24.46, shame they won't be stocking it. I have a Collector's Edition on order for £56 with Gamestop though.

Blizzard are mental with that digital download pricing.

Yeah I'm not paying that much for it either, I'll try for something mid £30s at a stretch but still sub £30 is what I expect.

This. I need two copies (Mrs and Me), and there's no way i'm parting with £90 for it!

Unless I can find it for sub £30 I'll wait.

Because GAME are going Bankrupt. They lost credit insurance with the banks. That means that game must now pay up front for game stock.

Many publishers don't agree with the terms GAME are trying to negotiate, in order to get stock. So GAME can't get the new stock in.
 
Neat little trick Blizzard are playing, stick an extra £10-£15 on the price people thought it'd be but also make the download available today, albeit encrypted. People will fall over themselves to grab a copy. Blizz sits back rubbing their hands together looking as their bank balance climbs ever higher.
 
Blizzard have always had silly prices compared to store purchases, the world of warcraft were more expensive even with the sale they had on. Meybe they have rules/limits on what they can go down to because of publishers/stores etc?
 
I'll pick it up if and when it ends up in a sale later in the year unless the reviews from players are fantastic. Once upon a time i was excited as hell for the game but have lost interest over the years as more info was released. I'm looking forward to Path of Exile more these days.

If it's anything like Starcraft's price, it won't budge for quite a while.

Blizzard will get there money back while you play diablo III, unless you play both games at the same time, then it works out free, but you cant do that because Diablo III is run off Battle.net. :p

It's really sneaky money making tactics from blizzard.
 
£15 is still a good price really, and i put a lot of hours in to WoW so agreeing to pay for a year to get it cheaper is no skin off my back really

If you play WoW the same as you normally do, then I don't see how Blizzard are making more than £15 extra compared to just getting two 6 month subs?
