Overview
Dishonored is a stealth action-adventure game being released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It is being developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It will be released on October 9, 2012 in the US, October 11 in Japan, and October 12 in Europe.
The game follows Corvo Atano, a legendary bodyguard known for his talents, who was framed for the murder of the Empress, the one who he was supposed to protect. While in prison, he receives a visit from a mysterious figure, known only as The Outsider, who bestows some strange powers upon him. It is now up to Corvo to take revenge on those who framed him.
Gameplay
Dishonored is played in first-person perspective, with an emphasis on stealth and action. Every mission is in a self-contained area, with many different ways to complete it. In between missions, Corvo is in a central hub, where he may acquire new weapons, upgrade abilities, among other things.
