The *Official* Dont Make *Official* Threads

Whats the point in making these official threads?

Its not like every other one is unofficial or something :confused:

Im sure they are not on any other part of these forums (or any other forums i have seen)
 
i know they're well annoying, but atleast it keeps more people from opening more threads about said games, although some idiots still do it repeatedly.
 
you are a muppet! The reason behind offical threads is its meant to keep discussion to one. You are complaining about a 2nd Crysis offical when one is demo one is full game, in theory everything useful could be taken and used in the full game one. Since when has 2 wrongs made a right ? Reported.
 
Well I see your point, but for me personally its far easier going through those threads than half a dozen treads on different aspects of a game/subject.

Where was I complaining about anything crysis related. Im reporting you to the headmaster for calling me a muppet!:rolleyes:
 
in a way i agree,

im sorry but if i want to ask a question about a game i will post it.

Im not going to spend the best part of what could amount to hours going through a single thread to find an answer.

Now obviously i would search before posting, which i agree a lot of people forget to do.

But i always seem to find that unless your in from the start on the *official* thread your going to have a mission to find out the answer your looking for or trying to catch up with whats been said.

On the other hand i do like the official threads as well though lol
 
It's all down to freedom, people can post whatever they like, that's *official*.
It'd be a bit boring if everyone followed the everyone else and no-one thought for themselves.
I did lol at this thread title.
I think the main purpose behind *official* threads is to conglomerate all the people to one thread about a game, as apposed to having 20 threads asking different questions about the same game.
 
I think the *official* thing probably started out from the mods.

Often if I see loads of threads covering exactly the same thing I merge them/delete the inferior ones and create a new ***OFFICIAL*** one.

Apologies. You didnt post in the other thread. My report stands though as its pointless and just going to fuel the spam cooker's

thanks. I think the spam cookers are already being fueled by a large number of official threads.

now you mention it, how many *official* threads are there for crysis?
