Only cost me £15 to upgrade my original kickstarter pledge to premium beta so have signed up, also ordered an X-55 so looking forward to immersing myself in beta

How do you go about upgrading your pledge? Been looking for how to do that but can't seem to find any information.

Go to the frontier store and log in before trying to buy. When you go to checkout it will apply the discount.

been hovering over buy for the last hour, watching streams it looks great and its a game I really want but i'm in the middle of moving house so I wont get much out of it for the next few weeks at least and there is bound to be some bills i'm not expecting.

I'm really enjoying it. Even at this early stage it is simply the game I remember when I was a kid. There's a but though, and that's whether that's enough? At the moment I have a big smile on my face while playing it and there will be many more game play features coming on-line in the future.

I'd say dive in if you loved the original. You will not be disappointed.

I'm in the premium beta, but I just can't get into a game online. Just a spinning ship on the loading screen constantly. Anyone else had similar issue or know how to fix? Been trying for hours. I let it go for ages, or only a minute or so... whatever I do no luck.

Same here ... almost. Took a long while to get off the loading screen, and when I finally did get into a multiplayer session the lag was unbearable

Yes, I've run into this as well. Restarting (EG. un-focus the game window and it then crashes) the game eventually got it working. This behaviour occurs about 1 in every 3 times I attempt to run multiplayer.

Had no issues with lag though and I do have everything maxed.

There's a new newsletter out that shows the new docking assist computer

Should be especially useful for those who get big fat ships.

That Anaconda video is incredible. I've said this before, but I'll say it again - I used to think Star Citizen was my favourite out of these 2, I'm now liking this one more and more. I'm so glad I backed both, since I almost didn't back elite after spending some money on Star Citizen.
